The system is designed to cache static files and images. The APK extension will be ignored and basically streamed from your server to our endpoint server to the requesting user. The connection may prove to be faster this way and the user may see a performance improvement, but it mostly would depend on your web host at this point.
If your web host is reliable, you may see benefit to this. You would have to create the links to the APKs manually as our plugin will not rewrite this extension as it is not considered a common or default extension that can be leveraged by the CDN.
